God is far more concerned with what is happening on the inside of our lives than what appears on the outside. Just as a car can look great on the exterior while the engine is failing, our spiritual lives can look polished while something deeper is broken. God sees past the surface and looks directly at the heart. Allowing Him to examine our character, our prayer life, and the things we hold onto privately is not a sign of weakness but of wisdom. Building our lives on Jesus Christ as the true foundation is what determines whether we stand or fall when storms arrive. Only what is built with and for Him carries eternal weight.
